2 Chronicles 15:7
7 "But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for there is a reward for your work."
Sometimes things just come down to a choice and a strong will. You be strong . . . just do it -- this isn’t a time for wimps. The task before you can be accomplished if you don’t lose courage, so don’t lose courage.
And for one other thing, there is a reward for your and you don’t want to miss out on that. How do you get strong? By getting close to God and staying there until some of His greatness rubs off on you. Then jump up and move out fully expecting Him to do some things that will shock you as they catapult you over the finish line.
Don’t worry about conjuring up strength, believe God for it. With your divinely enabled strength will come courage. Courage looks to see where the strength is grounded and then grows with your confession of who you are and what you can do.
Now put some focus on your reward and forge ahead. If you have a number of frogs to swallow, swallow the biggest one first. And don’t put it off.
Procrastination is a thief of strength and courage.
